To give the new Ford Focus ST a fresh new look, Ford’s distinct kinetic design-energy in motion was incorporated in refining the new Focus profile. Ford of Europe’s team of designers has updated the form and designs of the bumper and grille by doing a “whole vehicle approach” in completing a new body. Now with stronger lines and identifiable styling, the segment exuded a much better stance and a commanding impression. Inside, the emphasis was given in improving the quality of the materials and comfort levels. Now, quality leather is available for key models with a blue tinted glass and new woven headliner. The newest Focus feature is the Connectivity Module that includes USB ports, auxiliary jack and Ipod connections.
The new Ford Focus ST is available in five model series: the Ambiente series, Trend series, Ghia, Titanium and other varieties of themed option packs. These models complement specific customer demand for sporty, comfortable, stylish and business class cars. Aside from its trim specifications, it also features a new intelligent protection system. Since Ford is known to have ‘no-compromise’ approach to driving safety, the new Focus segment has no fewer than 6 airbags. It comes with a standard Electronic Stability Programme (ESP) and Traction control, which are available in European markets. For much improved road illumination, its Adaptive Front Lighting System that works with HID Bi-Xenon headlights is complemented with bright LED rear lights. It also has a tire pressure Deflation Detection System (DDS) and an automatic warning light activation system, which has earned a five-star Euro NCAP rating.
